Have you heard the interview or read the recent articles on
Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, and her confession that she leaves at 5:30pm
every night and has dinner with her family at 6pm? It is fantastic! It
is totally unthinkable and unspeakable in many industries to leave the office
at a reasonable hour. In high tech,
where how late one works is considered a badge of honor, she totally bucks the
trend. And, her career appears no worse
for it, as she is one of the most respected and powerful women in the Silicon Valley. Bravo, Sheryl Sandberg, for setting boundaries,
for blazing new trails, and for talking about it!
